MONROE - Louisiana Tech and ULM will play the rubber match of a three-game season series on Tuesday night when the Lady Techsters travel down I-20 to face the Warhawks at 6 p.m.
The two teams have split the previous two games - both played in Ruston - with ULM winning 9-5 in the season opener in early February and LA Tech winning 3-1 just two weeks ago.
Tech (26-13) will play back-to-back midweek road non-conference games. Following Tuesday night's game at ULM, the Lady Techsters will travel to face McNeese State in Lake Charles on Wednesday.
Offensively, Tech enters the game against ULM sporting 40 home runs on the season, third most in program history. Tech's power sources include Krysta Tustch (9 HR, 26 RBI), Pauline Tufi (9 HR, 33 RBI), Bianca Duran (7 HR, 34 RBI), and Anna Cross (5 HR, 21 RBI).
In the circle, Tech is led by Duran (13-10, 2.63 ERA), Bailey Allen (6-1, 2.43 ERA) and Pauline Tufi (5-1, 2.86 ERA).
ULM enters the game with a record of 25-15.
