RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech volleyball team will conclude a stretch of four consecutive home matches this Sunday, hosting league foe Marshall at 1 p.m. from the Thomas Assembly Center.

The Lady Techsters (6-11, 1-1; C-USA) will be looking to close a strong stretch of recent play, having won five of their last nine matches. Tech is 2-2 at home this season and is 1-1 at the Thomas Assembly Center in league action.

Continuing to lead Tech's offense this season is junior Kaitlyn Adams, who has registered a team-high 166 kills, while averaging 3.07 kills per set. Junior Madeline Davis is close on her heels, having put up some big number from both the offensive and defensive sides of the net recently. Davis is averaging 2.17 kills per set (137 kills for the season) and is leading the team with a .325 hitting percentage. That mark ranks eighth best among all Conference USA leaders.

As a team, Tech continues to impress from the defensive side of things, ranking second in the league in digs per set (16.10) and has held its opponents to a combined .194 hitting percentage – good for the fourth lowest mark among all C-USA teams.

Marshall (7-10, 0-3; C-USA) enters Sunday's contest having dropped each of its first three league matches on the season – most recently falling 3-0 to UAB on Friday evening.
