ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (20-8, 11-5 C-USA)
LA Tech was limited to its lowest scoring output of the season, falling 56-49 to North Texas in Denton this past Saturday.  The Bulldogs tied things up after a 9-0 run at 49-49 with 3:45 remaining, but the Mean Green closed out the game on a 7-0 themselves.

Despite the loss, the Bulldogs turned in one of their best defensive performances of the season, holding UNT to its second lowest scoring output as well as a season-low 16 made field goals.

Kenneth Lofton, Jr. led the way with a game-high 13 points to go along with nine rebounds.  It marked the 12th time this season he has anchored the team in both statistical categories.  He is currently averaging 16.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.

Fifth-year seniors Amorie Archibald and Exavian Christon will be playing their final game inside the TAC.  Both players came to LA Tech in 2017 and have spent the past five seasons as Bulldogs, combining to play in 266 career games.

ABOUT OLD DOMINION (12-17, 7-9 C-USA)
Old Dominion enters the week coming off two blowout victories at home over Florida Atlantic and FIU by an average scoring margin of 19.5.  The Monarchs sit in fifth place in the East Division, but are only two games back of second.

ODU has one of the top defenses in the league, ranking first in field goal percentage defense at 41.1 percent (C-USA games only).  They are also tops in rebounding during conference play at 38.56 boards per contest as well as a +5.1 rebounding margin.

C.J. Keyser leads the Monarchs in scoring at 14.1 points per game.  They also have a sizeable frontcourt in forwards Austin Trice and Kalu Ezikpe who is the reigning C-USA Player of the Week.  Trice averages 13.1 points and 8.9 rebounds while Ezikpe averages 11.4 points and 7.2 rebounds.

THE SERIES
Old Dominion leads the all-time series with LA Tech, 7-3.  All 10 meetings have come while the two teams have been C-USA opponents since the 2013-14 season.  The Monarchs had won four straight until the Bulldogs won, 76-73, in Ruston back in 2020, which was their last head-to-head meeting.
