The Official Student Spirit Organization for Louisiana Tech Athletics
Blue Bloods exists to enhance the collegiate experience, build a passionate game-day atmosphere, and grow the next generation of Loyal Blue Alumni.
We unite all Louisiana Tech students under a single, electrifying mission: to create meaningful engagement opportunities across LA Tech Athletics. Whether you're leading chants, earning rewards, or cheering from The Kennel, Blue Bloods is where Bulldog pride lives.

Membership Levels
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Points System Members* | Any LA Tech student with a valid student ID who earns points by attending athletic events. |
| Registered Members** | Students who officially register with Blue Bloods and are eligible for in-game upgrades, experiences, and rewards. |
| Committee Members^ | Registered members who serve on a Blue Bloods committee to help organize events, promotions, and spirit activities. |
| Alumni Members^^ | Graduating Blue Bloods members who may receive LTAC or season ticket benefits upon becoming alumni. |

Loyal Blue Point Rewards System
Scan your student ID at athletic events to earn points and unlock gear + experiences!
Students who reach points thresholds will be able to claim prizes at determine fulfillment dates and games. Some games offer bonus points and in-game upgrades. All reward items are subject to change.

Digital Membership Pass
All registered Blue Bloods will receive a digital membership access pass that can be added to your phone's digital wallet. This access pass can be used to redeem special offers, rewards, giveaways, and perks.
Ticket Perks
All registered Blue Bloods automatically qualify for discounted guest tickets, Bowl, and Postseason tickets discounts (*if available).
Concessions Perks
All registered Blue Bloods will have the opportunity to redeem Aramark Concessions discounts and vouchers on a season-by-season and game-by-game basis, subject to availability.
Bookstore Discounts
All registered Blue Bloods can redeem a 10% discount on one branded item during the first and last weeks of each quarter by showing your digital membership pass.
Experience Rewards
Select students will be randomly chosen (based on point snapshots or live selection) for unforgettable game-day upgrades:
- Football Sideline access
- Davison Athletic Complex access
- Athletic Director’s Suite access
- Courtside seats at Techsters and Bulldog basketball games
- Waggonner Room access
- On-court/field pregame experience
- Bulldog Baseball Hot Corner & Backstop access
Premium Experiences
- All-expenses-paid travel to select away/postseason games and tournaments (for 2)
- Tickets to Basketball Tip-Off Dinner
- Tickets to Baseball First Pitch Dinner
- Tickets to Hall of Fame Inductions
- Bonus surprise experiences throughout each season
Winners are chosen via point snapshot + random draw tied to student ID.

The Bulldog is a longstanding symbol of fierce loyalty and school pride. Its resolute stare and upright posture reflect the spirit of Louisiana Tech students—confident, fearless, and united in support of their teams.
Roots System
Symbol of: Legacy, Growth, Tradition
The roots anchor the crest and visually connect the Bulldog to its foundation, representing Louisiana Tech’s ‘thy noble trees’. They represent the generational impact of student involvement, and the long-standing traditions passed down through the Blue Bloods—from the past, into the future.
DNA Double Helix (within the roots)
Symbol of: Identity, Inheritance, Belonging
Woven subtly into the root system, the double helix shows that Blue Bloods spirit isn’t just practiced—it’s inherited. It speaks to the deep internalization of school values and the pride that becomes part of a student’s personal identity.
Flame
Symbol of: Passion, Spirit, Continuity
The flame represents the ever-burning torch of school spirit. It signals the responsibility to carry tradition forward, keeping the energy alive in every game, rally, and legacy effort by current and future Blue Bloods.
Laurel
Symbol of: Honor, Dedication, Excellence
Traditionally awarded to champions, the laurel wreath recognizes the commitment and achievement of those who give their time and voice to LA Tech Athletics. It honors Blue Bloods not just for being fans—but for being leaders.
Bridge (ribbon at the top)
Symbol of: Connection, Transition, Future-building
The “Blue Bloods” banner is styled as a bridge to symbolize how the organization connects generations—linking current students with alumni, past traditions with future legacies. It’s a visual reminder that each member is part of something larger than themselves.
Membership Types
*Points System Members
Who: All full-time students who scan their student ID at LA Tech Athletics events
Access: Automatically enrolled in the Loyal Blue Legacy Points system; Eligible for tiered gear and reward redemptions
**Registered Members
Who: Any full-time Louisiana Tech student in good academic standing who officially signs up
Access: Eligible for premium experience rewards (sideline passes, events, etc.); Free to join — just provide name, email, phone number, and student ID
^Committee Members
Who: Registered Members who serve in official roles on Blue Bloods committees
Access & Expectations: Must apply and be appointed to a committee; Required to attend meetings and complete assigned tasks; Eligible for exclusive events and rewards; Not subject to experience selection competition with Registered Members
^^Alumni Members
Who: Former Registered Members who have graduated and remained active
Access: Eligible post-graduation; Can roll over Loyal Blue Points for discounts, rewards, and alumni perks via the LA Tech Ticket Office and Alumni Association
