Plan ahead for a faster trip through the gate. Louisiana Tech Athletics limits the size and style of bags carried into athletic venues.
Quick check: Each guest may bring one approved clear bag. One small clutch or purse no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches may also be carried.

Medical Bags and Equipment
Medically necessary bags and equipment are permitted after inspection by security. Guests should allow additional time for screening.
Football Entry
Medical bags must be checked at Gate 4 or Gate 7. At other Louisiana Tech Athletics venues, bring medical bags to the main gate.

Why does Louisiana Tech use a clear bag policy?
The policy helps security staff screen bags more efficiently, supports a safer venue environment and helps guests move through entry points faster.
Can I bring a camera, binoculars or a tablet?
Yes. These items may be carried into the venue without their individual cases. Security may ask guests to remove them for screening.
Are seat cushions and chairbacks permitted?
Seat cushions and chairbacks are permitted when they are 18 inches wide or less and do not include pockets, zippers, compartments or covers.
Can I bring a blanket?
Yes. Blankets should be carried over an arm or shoulder so they can be easily screened at the gate.
What should families do with diapers and other baby supplies?
Diaper bags are not permitted. Diapers and other baby supplies may be carried in an approved clear bag.
Do all personal items have to be placed inside an approved bag?
No. Guests may carry permitted items such as phones, keys, wallets, credit cards and personal-care products in their pockets or jacket.
What happens if my bag does not meet the policy?
Guests carrying a bag that does not meet the policy will be asked to return it to their vehicle before entering the venue.
