    Outside Linebackers
Anthony Camp enters his third season at Louisiana Tech, his first as the outside linebackers coach on Sonny Cumbie's staff.

In the 2020 season, Camp coached Milton Williams to be named a third team All-American by Pro Football Focus and be a first team all-Conference USA selection. Williams ranked third in C-USA in tackles for loss with 10.0 and seventh in sacks with 4.5. He led the team with 10.0 tackles for a loss of 39 yards and 4.5 sacks for a loss of 32 yards. Williams finished fifth on the team in tackles with 44, including 21 solo.

He also guided Eric Kendzior to be a Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Semi-Finalist and be named a Conference USA honorable mention. Kendzior registered 30 tackles, including 15 solo, 2.0 for loss and 1.0 sacks, and two quarterback hurries during the 2020 season.

Camp came to Ruston after spending the 2018-19 seasons down the road as ULM’s defensive line coach. He replaces former D-line coach Rick Petri, who worked with the Tech defensive line for six seasons before retiring in early January.

In 2019, Camp helped lead a defensive line that featured an all-conference selection in senior Donald Louis, who ranked sixth in the Sun Belt in sacks (5.5), 12th in tackles for loss (10.0) and seventh in forced fumbles (2).

In his two years at ULM, Camp's defensive line helped force 54 sacks. In 2018, the Warhawks finished third in the Sun Belt in sacks with 34, while two of Camp's defensive lineman ranked in the top 12 of conference sack leaders.

Prior to his time at ULM, Camp spent both three seasons at Nicholls State (2015-17) under head coach Tim Rebowe.

In 2017, the Colonels finished 8-4 overall, tied for third in the Southland Conference standings at 7-2, and appeared in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision playoffs for the first time since 2005. Nicholls ranked among the Southland leaders in scoring defense (third at 25.2 points per game), pass defense (third at 206.3 yards per game), total defense (third at 352.2 ypg.), sacks (third with 34 for 218 yards) and rushing defense (fourth at 145.4 ypg.).

Three of Camp's defensive linemen finished among the league's top 10 in sacks, including sophomore Sully Laiche (fifth with 7.4 for 61 yards), junior Kenny Dotson (seventh with 6.5 for 44) and senior Marcel Andry (eighth with 5.5 for 36). Laiche and Dotson were both named second-team All-Southland last season.

In 2016, Nicholls' defensive line produced 34 tackles for loss, including 19 sacks. As a true freshman, Laiche earned first-team All-Southland honors after recording 13 tackles for losses, including 9.5 sacks. He finished second in the conference and No. 12 in the NCAA FCS rankings with 0.86 sacks per game.

Camp arrived at Nicholls following six seasons as a high school coach in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In three seasons as the defensive coordinator, he helped Catholic High School to a combined record of 26-8 (.765) from 2012-14, including a District 5-5A co-championship in 2013 and an outright title in 2014. In his final season, the Bears went 9-2 and advanced to the Division I select quarterfinals for the second year in a row.

He spent three years as a defensive assistant at his prep alma mater, Parkview Baptist (2009-11), where the Eagles claimed the 2010 Class 3A title.

Camp launched his coaching career as a graduate assistant at both McNeese State (2006-07) and Louisiana Lafayette (2008).

He was a two-year letterman (2004-05) as a defensive end for head coach Tommy Tate at McNeese. Camp earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from McNeese in 2007. He received a teaching certificate in secondary education from Louisiana College in 2009.

He is married to the former Aubre Lindsay of Baton Rouge. The couple has a son, named Asher.
