RUSTON - Louisiana Tech fans are encouraged to attend an official sendoff planned for the Lady Techsters basketball team Friday at 3:15 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center.

Head coach Kurt Budke and his squad will depart the parking lot of the Assembly Center at approximately 3:30 p.m. en route to Shreveport where the team will fly to Norfolk, Va., for Sunday's Mideast Regional against Duke.

Louisiana Tech will put its 21-game winning streak on the line against the Blue Devils, who enter the contest ranked No. 1 in the country.
