RUSTON ? It was definitely a senior moment at the Thomas Assembly Center Saturday night.

Eighteenth-ranked Louisiana Tech (23-4, 15-1 WAC) got record-setting performances from its three seniors while routing Hawaii 91-52 before 3,075 fans as the Lady Techsters captured the outright Western Athletic Conference title.

Senior guard Tasha Williams registered only the third triple double in Techster history with 10 points, 11 assists and 10 steals while senior guard Aarica Ray-Boyd scored 25 points and set the Louisiana Tech single season three-point record with 77, making five in the game.

Senior center Margaret DeCiman, making her first start of the season, also added a season-high 12 points and six rebounds in the win, Tech?s 12th straight.

Tech jumped out to a 30-13 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game and never looked back in registering its 111th straight regular season conference win at home. For the game, Tech hit 45 percent of its field goals while limiting Hawaii to only 34 percent shooting and forcing 33 turnovers.

?It was an enjoyable win for me,? said Tech head coach Chris Long. ?We played well, we played hard and the seniors had great nights.

?I?m surprised by how big (the margin of victory was). I thought we played well on both ends of the floor but particularly on the defensive end. That is where this team has really become good.?

Williams, the reigning WAC Player of the Year, played 32 minutes and hit the double digit mark in steals with 1:47 to play. Williams joins Shantel Hardison (11 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists vs. South Alabama on March 12, 1992) and Angela Turner (16 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists vs. Nebraska on Jan. 11, 1980) as the only Tech players to ever register triple doubles.

?It was my last game and I wanted to make a statement,? Williams said. ?I wanted to come out and play hard for the fans. I wanted to give them something to remember me by.?

While Williams was making her mark, Ray-Boyd was doing what she does best ? knocking down the three-pointer. The Texarkana, Texas, native hit five three-pointers ? her fourth three at the 17:25 mark of the second half gave her 76 for the year, moving her past Sheila Ethridge who set the Tech record with 75 in 1990-91.

Despite her record-setting performance, Ray-Boyd wanted to talk about her senior teammate following the game.

?I?m so proud of Margaret (DeCiman),? Ray-Boyd said. ?She came out and ran the floor and shot the ball so well. I?m just so proud and so happy for her.?

DeCiman, who started 27 games for Tech last year but who has been used solely off the bench this season, hit 6-of-11 field goals in 20 minutes of play. The 6-foot-7-inch senior scored six of the first eight points for Tech, helping the Techsters get off to a quick start.

Ty Moore added 13 points and 13 rebounds for her 10th double double of the season while Hawaii was led by Tanya Smith with 11 points and Amy Sanders with 10.
