Tarkeisha Wysinger signed with Louisiana Tech after leading Many High School to a mark of 153-9 during her prep career, including a trip to the state semifinals as a senior. During her high school career, the 2007 Miss Basketball in the state of Louisiana scored over 3,000 career points.
Q: What is one thing about yourself that most people don?t know.
A: I was born left-handed.
Q: Why did you decide to sign with Louisiana Tech?
A: I loved the family atmosphere.
Q: In your opinion, what does it mean to be a Lady Techster?
A: One word ? dedication.
Q: What has been the hardest transition to college so far?
A: Getting up for 5:30 a.m. workouts.
Q: As a player, what is your no. 1 goal for yourself this year?
A: Playing to the best of my abilities and giving 110 percent.
Q: If you could have dinner with any three people in history, who would they be and why?
A: Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Jr., Tupac Shakur

Q: What was your most memorable moment playing high school basketball?
A: Winning the MVP trophy in the 2007 Class 2A state championship game despite losing.

A: I?m outgoing, caring and determined.
Q: What is your best subject in school?
A: American history

A: 14. It worked for me in high school.
Q: What is the strongest aspect of your game?
A: Pushing the basketball.
Q: What would your dream job be and why?
A: A professional chef because I enjoy cooking.

A: water, bed and matches
