Louisiana Tech Opens Cross Country Season at Mook 4

RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech?s men?s and women?s cross country teams will open the 2007 season Saturday, Sept. 15, with their annual home meet, the Mook 4 at Lincoln Parish Park.
?We?re extremely young on both sides this season,? Tech head coach Gary Stanley said. ?I?m very anxious to see how our freshmen will perform.
Other teams competing the challenging course will be UL-Lafayette, UL-Monroe, Northwestern State, Louisiana College, Centenary and McNeese.
The men are set to run at 9 a.m. for four miles, while the women will run at 9:45 at four kilometers.
