Cross Country to Run in Demon Country
NATCHITOCHES, La. -- Louisiana Tech?s cross country squad will return to action Monday, Oct. 1, at the Northwestern State University Invitational to be run at the Demon Hills Golf Course.
?I?m excited to see how our men respond to additional training,? Tech head coach Gary Stanley said. ?We?re looking forward to working the runners we have.?
Tech most recently competed at the ULM Invitational at Chenault Park Golf Club Sept. 22 and swept all competing teams with junior Jace Benoit leading the way with a first place finish and a time of 27 minutes, 6 seconds. Junior Cory Denstel finished third at 27:26.
Joining Tech in competing are Northwestern, East Texas Baptist, McNeese, ULL, Grambling, Centenary and Louisiana College.
The 8K race is slated to start at 4:45 p.m.
