RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech athletic department officials announced Wednesday that tickets for the 2008 Independence Bowl in Shreveport will be mailed out starting Friday and into next week.

The Tech Ticket Office said ticket sales have been steady this week following Sunday's official announcement of the Bulldogs invitation to the Independence Bowl and that Tech fans are encouraged to purchase them online at www.latechsports.com or by calling 318-257-3631.

The Tech Ticket Office will begin to mail out tickets on Friday. The last day for fans to order tickets and still have them mailed out is Monday (Dec. 15).

Any orders placed after Monday can be picked up at the Tech Ticket Office or at will call on gameday.
