Tech Track Lands Super Sprinter

RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech has signed Stacia Hanneman of Track Knoxville to join the nationally renowned Lady Techster track and field team and will begin competing for Tech in fall of 2008.
Hanneman anchored the relay squad for Hunters Lane High School in Nashville, Tenn., where her team took the gold in the 4x100. She was also a bronze medalist at the AAU National Championships in the 200-meter dash and anchored Track Knoxville's gold medal team in the 4x100. She most recently qualified for the Nike Indoor National Championships in both the 200 and 400.
Hanneman has many academic honors from Hunters Lane High School and will study sports medicine at Tech.
