Alexander and Coleman to Compete at NCAA Championships

RUSTON -- Both senior Nadia Alexander and junior Michael Coleman will be heading to Fayetteville, Ark., at the Tyson Track Center beginning Friday, March 14, for the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships.
Alexander hit her NCAA Provisional Mark in the women's shot put in the same building at the 2008 Tyson Invitational after throwing a school record 53 feet, 7.50 inches. Coleman hit his mark at the 2008 WAC Indoor Championships last weekend with a time of 6.68 seconds in the men's 60.
Coleman is set to compete in the preliminaries Friday, while Alexander will throw Saturday. Check back at latechsports.com to see how both fared.
