RUSTON - Louisiana Tech will host the highest ranked team to ever enter Joe Aillet Stadium when the Bulldogs play No. 5 Boise State Friday, Nov. 6 in a game that will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

Boise State is currently undefeated and ranked No. 5 in the USA Today Poll and No. 6 in the Associated Press Poll . Prior to the Broncos coming to town, the highest ranked team to ever enter Joe Aillet Stadium (since the Bulldogs joined the FBS ranks in 1989) was 17th ranked Fresno State in 2004, a game that Tech won 28-24.

Numerous promotions have been planned surrounding the contest as the Bulldogs look to burst the Broncos BCS bubble as kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

All Louisiana Tech faculty and staff get into the game free of charge on the East side of the stadium (Gate 4B) with their university ID while select faculty or staff members will be recognized during the game.

The $1,000 student sweepstakes is back as one lucky student's name will be pre-drawn (by the registrar's office) to win one grand (the winner must be present at the game to win).

Also, LA Tech will offer free admission to all local and partner university and college students with a valid ID on the East side of the stadium (Gate 4B).

Young Bulldog fans can take advantage of The Ruston Brick Kids Zone starting at noon on gameday as the area will include multiple inflatables, face-painting, games and more.
