RUSTON - After a 3-0 start and on the eve of its biggest game of the year, the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters received five points in this week's Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

The Lady Techsters, who host LSU Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center, have recorded lop-sided wins over Centenary and Nicholls State and a hard-fought victory over Arkansas State to start the season.

Tech is currently "ranked" 43rd in this week's poll but has an opportunity to move up with games against the seventh-ranked Tigers and the eight-ranked Baylor Bears on Saturday.

The Lady Techsters are one of two Western Athletic Conference teams garnering points as the undefeated Boise State Broncos received two points.
