With the loss, Louisiana Tech falls to 8-5 on the year and ends a seven-game winning streak.

Quinton Patton recorded his 11th touchdown reception of the season, tying him for fourth in the school's single-season charts.

Wednesday's Poinsettia Bowl game marked the first time this season Louisiana Tech was tied at halftime.

Both of TCU's scores in the first half came off of Louisiana Tech turnovers.

Louisiana Tech recorded 16 first downs in the first half, the fifth time this season and third consecutive game the Bulldogs have recorded at least 15 first downs in a half.

Myles White's 61-yard touchdown reception is the longest offensive touchdown play in Louisiana Tech bowl history and the third-longest touchdown play in Poinsettia Bowl history.

This game marks the first time since Oct. 1 that Louisiana Tech did not have a net gain in turnover margin.

Ryan Allen's first punt was downed on the one yard line and Allen had two punts inside the 20 giving him a national-best 39 punts inside the 20 this season.

Nick Isham recorded his first career collegiate catch in the game.
