RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech head football coach Sonny Dykes announced the 2011 spring football practice schedule Thursday. All 15 spring sessions will be open to the public, including all three scrimmages. The spring practice schedule starts on Thursday, March 10 at 4 p.m. while the T-Day Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 2 at 2 p.m. at Joe Aillet Stadium.

All weekday practice dates are scheduled for a 4 p.m. start while the Saturday practices will begin at 10 a.m. with the exception of the T-Day Spring Game.

NCAA rules allow football programs to hold 15 spring practices.

All spring practices have been tentatively set to be held in Joe Aillet Stadium. All dates, times and locations are subject to change.

Louisiana Tech enters its second spring practice under head coach Sonny Dykes, who guided the team to a 5-7 record in his first season as head coach.

At least 10 of Tech's junior college signees from National Signing Day are expected to be enrolled and on campus in time for the start of the spring quarter and spring practice.
