Tech Softball Hosts BPCC Saturday

RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech softball team will host a fall doubleheader Saturday at noon as the Lady Techsters face Bossier Parish Community College in the twinbill at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.

Head coach Mark Montgomery's squad will play its final two games of the fall season after sweeping a doubleheader against Northeast Texas Community College last Saturday by scores of 7-0 and 12-0.

Seniors Michelle Jones and Janna Frandrup both recorded complete-game shutouts in the circle while Tech received offensive production throughout its lineup, led by Melanie Goff (3 hits, 3 RBI), Kristen Miles (3 hits, 2 RBI), Dacia Hale (2 hits, 2 RBI) and Amanda Krueger (1 hit, 3 RBI).

Admission to Saturday's games is free.
