LAFAYETTE, La. -- Play at the 2012 Mardi Gras Classic in Lafayette has been suspended for the current time due to rain.

Louisiana Tech was scheduled to face UTEP at 9 a.m. this morning but all games are on hold as a decision will be made at 3:30 p.m. today as to the remainder of the schedule for the event.

The Lady Techsters split a pair of games Friday, defeating Northwestern State 7-5 and falling to Northwestern 10-6.
