RUSTON - Louisiana Tech's softball doubleheader against Ole Miss scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled due to the playing conditions of the field following last night's rain in the north Louisiana area.

The games will not be made up.

Tech will host an important Western Athletic Conference series against UTSA this weekend with a doubleheader set for Friday at 5 p.m. and a single game set for Saturday at 1 p.m. Admission to all Louisiana Tech regular season softball games is free.

Tickets for the upcoming WAC Softball Tournament hosted by Louisiana Tech May 8-11 are currently on sale in the Tech Ticket Office and can be purchased by calling 318-257-3631.
