FORT WORTH, Texas - Multiple personal records fell and a pair of Conference USA-leading marks were set in the sprints as action wrapped up at the Horned Frog Invitational late Saturday in Fort Worth hosted by TCU.

Charla Craddock shattered her own personal record in the 200m and ran the school's eighth-fastest time as she won the race with a time of 23.41. That time leads Conference USA and is ranked 17th in the East Preliminary performance list, all but guaranteeing her a postseason spot in the event.

In the women's 100m, Brittany Walker ran 11.56 to set a Conference USA-leading time and a new personal best mark to finish fifth while Mia Adams ran 11.58 to beat her old career best time by over 0.4 seconds to finish sixth. Victoria Wade also ran a personal best time as she finished eighth, running 11.60.

Louisiana Tech's women finished 3-4-5 in the long jump with Craddock leading the way, jumping 20-3.5 (6.18m). Danielle Zenon followed Craddock with a personal best jump of 19-11.5 (6.08m) while Denisha Henix was fifth, jumping 19-11 (6.07m). All three are likely headed to Jacksonville, Florida at the end of the month for the NCAA East Prelims based on Saturday's marks.

In the triple jump Jamelia Johnson won with a mark of 40-4.25 (12.30m) while Henix followed in second, jumping 38-11.5 (11.87m).

SaBrittany Angelle notched a new career best mark in the hammer as she finished eighth with a throw of 154-7 (47.12m). Morgan Keesee followed in ninth with a throw of 143-7 (43.77m) while Aprell Williams was 10th, throwing 137-2 (41.80m).

On the men's side, Jermey Hicks ran a personal best time of 10.35 to finish fourth in the 100m dash while Tamario Lattin set a season-best height in the high jump as he finished third with a mark of 6-6.25 (1.99m).

Gregory Ballard was the runner-up in the pole vault with a height of 15-5 (4.70m) while Aaron Orduno was the runner-up in the shot put, throwing 52-10.75 (16.12m). Orduno was also third in the hammer with a mark of 181-9 (55.40m).

LA Tech's men were fourth in both horizontal jumps as Devin Henderson jumped 47-3 (14.40m) in the triple jump while Jarrett Samuels jumped 24-0.25 (7.32m) in the long jump. Craig Jones was sixth in the long jump with a mark of 23-7.5 (7.20m).

Louisiana Tech returns to action on May 15-17 in El Paso as LA Tech will compete at the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by UTEP.
