July 13, 2015 RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech head cross country and track and field coach Gary Stanley announced the 2015 cross country schedule Monday with the Mook Triple-Dual highlighting the slate on Sept. 19.
In all, LA Tech will compete at four regular season meets in four different states while heading to a fifth state for the C-USA Championships.
The season opens on Sept. 12 when LA Tech heads to the North Texas-hosted Ken Garland Invitational before returning home to host the annual Mook Triple-Dual.
LA Tech then heads east for the Watson Ford Invitational hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi on Oct. 9 before continuing east for the Crimson Classic hosted by Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Oct. 16.
Postseason competition begins on Oct. 31 in Bowling Green, Kentucky as WKU hosts the C-USA Championship meet. Qualified runners will head to College Station, Texas on Nov. 13 as Texas A&M will host the NCAA Regionals with the University of Louisville hosting the NCAA Championships in Louisville, Kentucky on Nov. 21.
The schedule release comes only a few days after the men's cross country program was recognized for posting the highest team grade point average (3.624) among any C-USA men's cross country program.
