RUSTON ââ'¬" Louisiana Tech hosts a pair of fall games this weekend as the Lady Techsters face ULM Friday at 6 p.m. and Tyler Junior College Saturday at 1 p.m.

Admission is free.

Head coach Mark Montgomery and Co. defeated Ranger Junior College 12-4 last weekend in the first of eight fall games as four Tech pitchers combined to record 10 strikeouts and only one walk during the 10-inning contest.

Sophomore Preslee Gallaway tossed 3.0 innings, allowing one unearned run on one hit and one walk while striking out six batters. Transfer Krystal De La Cruz worked 3.0 full innings, allowing three hits while striking out one. Junior Bailey Allen worked 2.0 innings without allowing a runner and striking out two. Freshman Jenny Chapman tossed the final 2.0 innings, allowing three runs on four hits with one strikeout.

Offensively, Tech recorded 12 hits in the win. Freshman Marilyn Rizzato registered four RBI and sophomore Taria Page added three RBI to lead the Lady Techsters offensively.
