RUSTON, La. - A two-out sixth inning home run from Zoe Bacon gave UTSA a 3-1 victory over Louisiana Tech on Sunday afternoon at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.

Louisiana Tech right fielder Tori Charters snagged the fly ball while crashing into the outfield fence for the final out of the inning, maintaining the 1-1 tie.
LA Tech and UTSA remained knotted at one, despite the fact that UTSA had left seven runners on base through the first three innings.
Both pitching staffs worked flawlessly through the next two innings, before the top of the sixth. After Haley Garza reached on a fielding error, Bacon, the pinch-hitter, lifted the game winning two-out, two-run home run to left center, putting the Roadrunners on top for good 3-1.
