RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech looks to end the 2018 regular season on a high note this weekend as the Bulldogs play hosts to the WKU Hilltoppers at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston.
Â
Kickoff is set for 11:02 a.m. CT on Saturday at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston and will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network with Jason Horowitz (play-by-play) and Ross Tucker (analysis) calling all the action on Saturday morning.
Â
"We know what type of team [WKU] is," head coach
Skip Holtz said in his weekly press conference. "We know what type of competitors they are. You always talk about rivalry games and you can throw the records out and go play it. I am expecting a very competitive, hard-fought football game by both teams out here on Saturday."
Â
The Bulldogs are one-point loss on the road at Southern Miss as LA Tech enters the game with a 7-4 overall record and 5-2 mark in league play. WKU defeated the UTEP Miners at home last weekend to move to 2-9 overall and 1-6 in league games.
Â
Saturday's game will mark the ninth meeting all-time between Louisiana Tech and WKU with LA Tech leading the series, 5-3, including a 3-0 record in games played at Joe Aillet Stadium. The Bulldogs won the last meeting, 23-22, over the Hilltoppers a year ago in Bowling Green.

Â
