CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – For only the second time since joining Conference USA in 2013, Louisiana Tech will travel to face the Charlotte 49ers at Halton Arena Thursday at 6 p.m.
Tech (10-8, 2-5 C-USA) has hosted Charlotte (12-6, 3-4 C-USA) five of the first six years in Conference USA with the lone trip to North Carolina coming in 2015-16. Charlotte won that meeting 63-58 but Tech leads the overall series 5-4.
The contest can be heard on the LA Tech Sports Network on KNBB 97.7 FM with the pregame show starting at 5:30 p.m. Fans can watch a live stream of the contest through a paid subscription to CUSATV.com.

The 49ers most impressive C-USA win came in Birmingham when Charlotte defeated UAB 83-75 on Jan. 2 – the C-USA opener for both teams.
