LA Tech Football Schedules H&H Series with SDSU

RUSTON, La. - On Monday afternoon, Louisiana Tech athletics officials announced a pair of home-and-home series with San Diego State beginning in 2028.

The two sides will first meet on the gridiron on September 23, 2028 in San Diego, California. San Diego State will make its return trip in the first home-and home-agreement the following season on September 15, 2029 in Ruston. The Bulldogs will also host Kansas in 2028 and Bowling Green in 2029.

The Bulldogs will open the second series with the Aztecs at home on September 24, 2033, before heading back to SDSU on September 23, 2034.

Prior to this home-and-home agreement, the Bulldogs and Aztecs have never met in football.

Season tickets are now on sale for the 2020 season. The Bulldogs own the nation's longest active bowl winning streak with six consecutive victories dating back to 2014.
 
LA Tech is coming off its first 10-win season since joining the FBS ranks, and will host five home games over the course of the 2020 campaign, including four crucial Conference USA matchups against UTEP (October 10), Marshall (October 17), UAB (October 31) and Rice (November 14). The Bulldogs will open the 2020 home slate in non-conference play against Prairie View A&M on Saturday, September 19.
 
Fans can purchase season tickets online at LATechSports.com/tickets or by calling the LA Tech Ticket Office at (318) 257-3631. The renewal deadline for season tickets is June 1, 2020.
