RUSTON, La. – Head coach Gary Stanley announced Louisiana Tech men's and women's cross country schedule on Wednesday afternoon, featuring three regular-season meets before the Conference USA Championships.
 
LA Tech opens the season at home with the Mook 4 Invitational on Sept. 19. The meet will be held at the LA Tech Farm, where the men's team captured a first-place finish in 2019. The women's team placed third in the competition a year ago.
 
The Bulldogs and Lady Techsters will travel to Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas, for the Lois Davis Invitational on Oct. 9. Both the men's and women's team will then close out the regular season at the Watson Invitational on Oct. 17. In 2019, the Bulldogs placed second in the Watson Invitational, which is held at Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi.
 
The C-USA Championships will be held in Montevallo, Alabama, on Oct. 31. Middle Tennessee swept the men's and women's titles a year ago in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
 
The NCAA Regionals are scheduled for Nov. 13 in College Station, Texas.
 
Five freshmen will join the LA Tech cross country program this fall – three on the men's team and two on the women's team.
