ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (3-1)
The Lady Techsters picked up its 13th straight non-conference home win this past Monday night with a 77-48 victory over Nicholls State to move to 3-1 on the year. Tech forced the Colonels into 29 turnovers which lead to 29 points for the LA Tech offense. Of those 29 turnovers, the Lady Techsters collected a steal on 20 of them, the most since Tech also collected 20 steals against Fresno State on Jan. 13, 2011.

The Lady Techsters have had success from the inside all year long, outscoring their opponents this season, 166-68, in the paint. A large part of that comes from the play of Anna Larr Roberson (10.5 ppg.), Jadona Davis (3.0 ppg.) and Kate Thompson (4.8 ppg.) down low. Tech also gets major contributions from the guards as Tech has outscored its opponents, 72-22, in fast-break points.

Junior Keiunna Walker recorded her fifth straight double-figure scoring game with 18 points against Nicholls State. She is currently leading the team in scoring at 18.8 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Four Lady Techsters are averaging in double-figures led by Walker's at 18.8 points per game. Other Lady Techsters scoring in double-figure are Amaya Brannon (11.8 ppg.), Anna Larr Roberson (10.5 ppg.) and Salma Bates (10.0 ppg.) Roberson leads the Lady Techsters in rebounds, pulling down 6.3 boards a game.

ABOUT BOISE STATE (1-2)
Boise State enters Friday's contest with a 1-2 overall record. The Broncos have dropped contest to Long Beach State and at BYU, while capturing an 83-48 win over Oregon Tech at home.

Sophomore Elodie Lalotte anchors the Broncos, picked to finish sixth in this year's Mountain West Conference preseason poll. Lalotte is the only BSU player averaging double-figures at 10.0 points per contest on 48 percent shooting. She secured a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Bronco's win over Oregon Tech.

Sophomore Mary Kay Naro leads BSU in rebounding, pulling down 6.0 rebounds a game while averaging 9.7 points per game. Classmate Abby Nuse also contributes 8.7 points per game for the Broncos.
