RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech women's basketball team wraps-up the non-conference portion of the schedule Wednesday evening when they travel south to face McNeese State at 6:30 p.m. inside the Burton Coliseum.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (7-2)
The Lady Techsters team enters their final non-conference game of the season sporting a 7-3 record. Tech had their three-game winning streak snapped this past Sunday with a 69-57 loss at UL-Lafayette.
The Lady Techsters are led offensively by junior
Keiunna Walker (16.7 ppg). Walker has been a dynamic scorer all year, ranking sixth in scoring and ninth in field goal percentage (43.0 %) in Conference USA. Walker also brings a wealth of energy on the defensive end of the floor. She leads the team in steals (22) while drawing a team-high 12 charges.
Roberson had been a force on the defensive end of the floor for Tech, ranking second in rebounds (9.6 rpg), fourth in blocked shots (1.5 bpg), while contributing on the offensive end of the floor with 12.6 points per game.
Defensively, Tech ranks as one of the best defense teams in C-USA. The Lady Techsters rank first in blocked shots (4.3 bpg), third in points allowed (55.2 papg), third in steals (10.7) and sixth in opponent field goal percentage (37.9 %) in C-USA.
ABOUT MCNEESE STATE (4-7)
McNeese State enters Wednesday's contest with a 4-7 overall record, after snapping a five-game losing streak with an 81-54 win over ULM last Saturday in Monroe. The Cowgirls have played a tough non-conference schedule, losing contest at Mississippi State, California and Oregon.
McNeese State is led offensively by junior Desirae Hansen with 11.1 points per game. Sophomore Zuzanna Kulinska and freshman Kalil Chamberlin follow closely behind scoring 9.3 and 9.1 points per game respectfully. Junior Divine Tanks has controlled the boards this season, averaging 7.5 rebounds per contest.
As a team, McNeese State ranks fifth national in offensive rebounding, averaging 17.3 rebounds per game. Despite the large amount of offensive boards, the Cowgirls only average 69.4 points per contest. On the other end, McNeese state ranks 335
th out of 348 team in Division I in scoring defense, allowing 77.5 points per contest.
SERIES HISTORY
Louisiana Tech leads the all-time series against McNeese State, 23-7, in a series that dates back to the 1974-75 season. The Lady Techsters and the Cowgirls met in the season opener last season with Tech claiming the victory 90-45 inside the Thomas Assembly Center. The Lady Techsters are a 15-1 in Ruston, while posting a 6-4 record in Lake Charles.
