RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech held its annual Pro Day on Thursday as 14 former Tech players participated in a variety of drills and testing in front of representatives from 31 National Football League (NFL) teams inside Joe Aillet Stadium.
 
As there was no LA Tech Pro Day in 2019, former players from both 2019 and 2020 participated in this year's Pro Day event in Donavaughn Campbell, Bailey Hale, Adrian Hardy, Justin Henderson, Bobby Holly, Darryl Lewis, Kevin Murphy, Aaron Roberson, Michael Sam, J'Mar Smith, Malik Stanley, Connor Taylor, Israel Tucker and Milton Williams.
 
Williams, who was invited to this year's virtual NFL Combine, clocked in with a 4.60 in the 40-yard dash and ran a 6.80 L Drill and a 4.36 shuttle. He had a 38-inch vertical jump and a 10 feet, 1 inch broad jump.
 
"I reached a couple of my goals," Williams said. "I didn't really get the bench that I wanted and I wanted that one bad. I fell one rep short. But, overall, I surprised myself a little bit out there, so it was a pretty good day."
 
"My numbers were put out three weeks ago. There were some good numbers and created some buzz, but my goal coming into today was to equal those numbers and beat them. I beat every number that I put up a couple of weeks ago. That just shows the work I am putting in."
 
Tucker also had a strong Pro Day performance after running a 4.52 40-yard dash, a 6.72 L-Drill and a 4.38 shuttle. He had a 38.5-inch vertical jump and a 10 feet, 3 inches broad jump. Holly ran a 4.59 40-yard dash and had a 34-inch vertical jump and a 9 foot, 8 inches broad jump.
 
"I wanted another opportunity," Holly said. "I did pretty well. I had a little tweak at the end, but it's nothing you can't fight through. You're out there and you're trying to showcase your skills and trying to get an opportunity to get into the league. You have to fight through some stuff, and that's what I did. I think a lot of teams were impressed with some of my speed and my hands coming out of the backfield. I think I really impressed a few teams. I'm just hoping and praying for another opportunity. I'm still going to keep working until I get that opportunity. I'm not going to stop."

Players will now wait for the 2021 NFL Draft which will take place from Thursday, April 29, to Saturday, May 1, in Cleveland, Ohio.
