RUSTON, La. – Conference USA released the league portion of the 2021-22 women's basketball schedules and the upcoming season will return to its normal Thursday-Saturday game days.
The 18-game schedule includes home-and-homes for Louisiana Tech against each of the six West Division members (C-USA is keeping the divisional format for men's and women's basketball this year). Head coach
Brooke Stoehr and Co. will play two games against Southern Miss, UTEP, UTSA, Rice, North Texas and UAB.
One quirk in the schedule this year is each school will only play six of the seven members of the opposite division. Thus, the Lady Techsters will play home games against East Divisional foes FIU, Florida Atlantic, and Charlotte and road games at Marshall, WKU and Old Dominion. Tech will not play Middle Tennessee in 2021-22.
Season tickets are on sale for both the Lady Techsters and the Bulldogs. Fans can purchase their season tickets at
https://am.ticketmaster.com/latech/buy. Season ticket prices will remain the same for the upcoming year as fans are encouraged to take advantage of the combo season ticket packages that include both men's and women's games.

"We are excited about the 2021-2022 CUSA schedule and the return to a more traditional format this season," said Stoehr. "The opportunity to compete for a Western Division championship as well as the return to a normal weekend setup is appealing.
"The league has continued to keep the safety and welfare of our students and staffs at the forefront of the scheduling conversation while trying to create the most competitively equitable format for all and achieving our goal of having multiple teams in postseason play."
For the second straight year, Tech opens C-USA play on the road against Marshall on Dec. 30 as the front end of a two-game road swing which also includes WKU (Jan. 1). The Lady Techsters home league openers will be Jan. 6 vs. UTEP and Jan. 8 vs. UTSA.
Tech returns three starters from last year's 14-10 team in junior guard
Keiunna Walker, sophomore forward
Anna Larr Roberson and sophomore guard
Lotte Sante. The Lady Techsters welcome eight newcomers to this year's team, including three DI transfers and five true freshman.
Louisiana Tech officials anticipate game-days for the 2021-22 basketball season will see the Thomas Assembly Center return to a more traditional state as the University plans to operate the venues as close to normal as possible while following state health guidelines.
