ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (10-8, 2-5 C-USA)
The Louisiana Tech women's basketball team will look to quickly bounce back after suffering a loss Thursday night inside Tudor Fieldhouse to the Rice Owls 72-64.

Despite Anna Larr Roberson's seventh double-double of the season (16 points, 10 rebounds) and a 16-point effort from Keiunna Walker, the Lady Techsters could not overcome a mix of foul trouble and hot shooting by the Owls.

Walker is one of three conference USA players to score in double figures in every game this season and has now done so in 19 straight games this season. She is averaging 17.2 ppg.

Roberson ranks No. 2 in rebounds in C-USA and is averaging a near double-double with 13.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest.

The Lady Techsters have been one of the top defensive teams in Conference USA this season ranking in the top five in several categories including scoring defense (58.5 ppg), blocked shots (3.6 bpg), turnovers forced (19.6 tfpg) and steals (9.5 spg).

The Techsters are averaging 65.7 ppg this season on 40.4 percent shooting from the field and rank as the No. 1 team in conference USA in free-throw percentage (.757).

Tech comes into the Saturday afternoon matchup currently a half-game back of North Texas in the C-USA West division standings.

ABOUT NORTH TEXAS (8-8, 2-4 C-USA)
North Texas is coming off a home win over the Southern Miss Golden Eagles (72-66) thanks to a career-high 30-points from redshirt junior Quincy Noble off 12-24 shooting. North Texas had dropped their previous three conference contests before Thursday.

UNT now sits at 8-8 on the year and 2-4 in conference play with wins over Marshall and Southern Miss.

North Texas is one of the top offensive and rebounding teams in conference USA averaging just over 70 points and 41 rebounds per game placing them in the top three for both categories.

The Mean Green are shooting 41.3 percent from the field this season while holding their opponents to 39.2 percent and just 28.4 percent from three.

North Texas is led by a three-headed double-digit scoring tandem in Noble (15.2 ppg), grad student Aly Gamez (11.1 ppg), and junior Jazion Jackson (10.4 ppg).
