Director of Track & Field Brian Johnson…
"The main goal of this meet was put our athletes up against some of the best, most experienced and deepest teams in the country and see how we would compete and our men and women answered that challenge.
Every one of our athletes hit personal bests today which mean they gave what they had against the best we've seen. To show that kind of improvement, even having athletes cut a minute or more off their times, is amazing and it shows the work they have put in.
We just have to keep building things the right way. I'm excited about competing at the conference championships in a couple weeks to see where we are and give us an idea of where we need to improve and go from there."
