RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech redshirt senior offensive lineman
Abraham Delfin was selected to the 2022 Conference USA Football All-Academic team, the league announced on Thursday.
With the selection, Delfin has now received the distinction for the third consecutive year.
Delfin, who was also voted Academic All-District in 2020 and 2021, graduated summa cum laude with a degree in construction engineering technology in May of 2021 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration. He holds a 3.9 cumulative GPA. Delfin has been named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll five times, is a five-time C-USA Academic Medalist. He has been named to the President's List seven times and posted seven perfect 4.0 GPA Quarters.
The Plaquemine, La., native made 25 consecutive career starts as a Bulldogs and appeared in 51 games throughout his collegiate career. Delfin was part of the Bulldogs' offensive line that paved the way for a 300-yard rushing performance against Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 10, which was the most by LA Tech since Oct. 12, 2019.
