ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (14-8, 6-5 C-USA)
Louisiana Tech has now won six of their last seven games including four in a row after beating UTEP Monday night in a rescheduled contest to move to 9-1 on the season at home.

The victory Monday night was win No. 500 for the Techsters inside the Thomas Assembly Center.

The Techsters are now above .500 in C-USA play for the first time this season and currently sit in the No. 3 position in the West Division behind UAB and Southern Miss.

Over their last four wins, Tech has shot better in 45 percent from the field, 45 percent from three-point range, and 80 percent from the free-throw line.

A large part of their success has been emerging play from the bench in freshman Amaya Brannon and Robyn Lee. Brannon scored a career-high 17 against FIU while Lee poured in 12 at North Texas.

Louisiana Tech has scored a total of 81 points from its bench over their recent win streak for a margin of +42 over their opponents.

Tech has also seen increased production from sophomore point guard Salma Bates who has scored in double figures in back-to-back games including a career-high 17 at North Texas, and freshman guard Silvia Nativi who has grabbed 19 rebounds and dished out 17 assists over the last four games including career-highs in both (11 and 7) versus FAU.

The Techsters' two leaders in junior Keiunna Walker (17.6 ppg) and sophomore Anna Larr Roberson (13 ppg, 9 rpg) continue to pace the squad. Walker was recently named the LSWA Player of the Week for the third time this season and has now scored in double figures for 23 straight games.

Roberson has now scored in double figures for 15 straight games and continues to lead the conference in free-throw percentage and ranks No. 2 in both rebounds (8.9 rpg) and double-doubles (seven).

The Lady Techsters continue to be one of the top defensive teams in conference USA ranking No. 3 in scoring defense (58.6 ppg), No. 5 in blocked shots (3.4 bpg) and No. 5 in turnovers forced (18.6 tfpg).

The Techsters are averaging 66.7 ppg this season on 42.3 percent shooting and rank as the No. 1 team in conference USA in free-throw percentage (.767).

ABOUT CHARLOTTE (12-7, 8-1 C-USA)
Charlotte, the conference USA preseason No.1, comes into Ruston as C-USA's East Division leader with a half-game lead over Middle Tennessee.

Charlotte is riding a three-game win streak of their own including two overtime victories at Marshall (39-37) and Western Kentucky (79-74). Their last loss was to Old Dominion on Jan. 29 (54-45).

Of their eight conference wins, five have been decided by five points or less while winning three overtime games.

Charlotte brings in a very experience squad led by pre-season all-conference members fifth year senior Octavia Jett-Wilson and senior Jada McMillian. Jett-Wilson ranks No. 3 in conference scoring at 19.0 ppg while McMillian is tied for the conference lead in assists per game (4.7) while adding in 8.8 ppg on her own.

Fifth year senior Mikalya Boykin joins Jett-Wilson in double figures with 12.7 ppg and senior KeKe McKinney leads the team in rebounds (7.9 rpg) and blocks (2.0 bpg) which is good for fifth and first in C-USA, respectively.

Charlotte is averaging 62.7 ppg this season on 38.3 percent shooting while giving up 61.4 ppg on 36.9 percent to their opponents. The 49ers are the second toughest team in the league against the three-pointer (.246) and rank No. 2 in blocked shots per game (4.1).
