RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech's Anna Larr Roberson was named conference USA's Player of the Week today after an incredibly strong finish to the regular season with wins at Old Dominion (65-62) and at home over UAB (82-56) to clinch their first conference title since 2011. 
 
At ODU, Roberson scored 31 points on 10-13 shooting including a perfect 10-10 at the free throw to go along with eight rebounds, two blocks, and two steals. 
 
She followed that up with 19 points and six rebounds in Saturday's title-clinching home finale over UAB. This week, Roberson averaged 25 points and seven rebounds on 67 percent shooting from the field and 87 percent from the line. 
 
Roberson finished the regular season scoring in double figures in 25 of her 28 games including two 20-point performances (Charlotte, ULM), the 31-point game at ODU, and a historic 44-point night in the double-overtime thriller over Rice which is the fifth-highest game total in program history. Her 20 field goals that game tied a record set by Belinda Jones in 1975.
 
In the conference, she ranked second in free-throw percentage (.860), was second in double-doubles (8), second in rebounds (8.6 rpg), third in field goal percentage (.528), and sixth in scoring (15.3 ppg). 
 
The local Cedar Creek product also surpassed 500 career rebounds earlier in the season at North Texas and recorded a new career-high 15 rebounds against Mississippi Valley State and Southern Miss. 
 
This is Roberson's first career C-USA player of the week honor. 
 
After an 0-4 start to conference play, Roberson helped lead the Techsters to an 11-3 finish to capture the West title and secure a one seed in this week's 2022 Heritage Landscape Supply Group C-USA Championships where the Techsters will await the winner of Western Kentucky and UAB on Thursday, Mar. 10 at 1:30 p.m. CT inside the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
