OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss used a 10-run third inning to blow open a scoreless game and then coast to the 10-0 win Tuesday night in Oxford.

Tech (29-17) and the Rebels (30-14) were tied 0-0 through two and a half innings before the Rebels plated 10 runs on 11 hits off of three different Lady Techster pitchers.

Brooke Diaz led Tech with a double and a walk drawn while Sierra Sacco drew a walk to extend her consecutive games reaching base safely streak to 18 games.

The Lady Techsters will host UAB in a pivotal three-game Conference USA series this weekend at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field with single games on Friday (6 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.).

Tech and UAB are separated by just one-half game in the C-USA standings.
