QUATABLES
Director of Track & Field Brian Johnson…
"Today was really exciting, for the program, but for me personally as well. We've been so ready to finally get things started and today's event made it real. This is my first event as the head coach Tech and it feels good to finally get here and start this journey. We have a long way to go but I'm really proud of all our athletes that competed. I was pleased with how we've prepared for this and how we showed up today. Now it's time to move the program and journey forward."
Assistant & Distance Coach Jeanee Romero…
"I'm extremely proud of our first meet. We were able to see where we're at as a group and I excited to see the rest of our season. Today was a good beginning, we have a lot of work today, and it's only up from here for us. We are going to keep getting better and better. I'm excited to see how much we improve from now until next week in Mississippi."
