ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (2-5)
The Lady Techsters dropped a defensive battle to ULM 60-52 on Wednesday night at the Thomas Assembly Center.

Anna Larr Roberson led the way for the Lady Techsters with 12 points and eight rebounds, her fourth double-figure scoring game. The senior recently passed Eric Westbrook and Debra Rodman for No. 30 on the all-time scoring list. Roberson is also one rebound away from 800 in her career.

Freshman guard Jianna Morris is coming off back-to-back double-figure scoring games, with 13 against Richmond and 11 against ULM. She currently ranks No. 5 in assists to turnover ratio (1.38), No. 6 in assists per game (3.3), and No. 7 in assists at 22.

Having the best four-game stretch of her career, Silvia Nativi is averaging 11 ppg, 4.25 rpg, and 2.75 apg over that stretch. The junior is shooting 45.5 percent from the field on the season.

The Lady Techsters are towards the top of Conference USA in three categories. LA Tech is No. 1 in assists per game at 13.7, No. 2 in assists to turnover ratio (0.85), and No. 3 in steals per game at 9.6.

ABOUT VANDERBILT (7-1)
Vanderbilt is coming off the only loss on the season against NC State, 70-62. The Commodores started the season with seven straight wins, including a 77-74 victory over CUSA member Western Kentucky.

The Commodores return just six players from last season's squad that finished 12-19 but get Jordyn Cambridge and Iyana Moore back after missing all last season due to an injury.

Cambridge leads Vanderbilt in nearly every category. The graduate student is averaging 14.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 4.5 steals per game. She has scored double figures in every game this season, including a 28-point performance against Northern Iowa on Nov. 25.

Leading the Commodores in scoring for three games this season, Moore has 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game average. She had a season-high 25 points against Fairfield and 21 against Iowa State.

Vanderbilt is tops in the nation in several categories. The Commodores rank No. 17 in turnover margin (+7 per game), No. 19 in steals per game (12.2), No. 25 in assists to turnover (1.36), and No. 41 in assists per game (17.0). Vandy also takes care of the basketball and only commits 12.5 turnovers per game, No. 26 in the country.

THE SERIES
Vandy holds the all-time series lead 2-1. The two teams met last season, a 75-70 overtime loss for the Lady Techsters that snapped an 18-game home non-conference winning streak for LA Tech. This will be the first meeting between the two programs in Nashville, Tenn.
