The 44 points allowed is the second fewest this season, and Tech grabbed a conference season-best 43 rebounds at UNT. Tech is 11-0 this season when holding teams to less than 60 points and 10-0 when outrebounding the opposition.

LA Tech's bench has reached double figures 23 times this season, used nine players in a starting role, and used five different fives.

Keiunna Walker moved into the top 10 in all-time program scoring, moving past Tamicha Jackson and Amanda Wilson. Walker is now No. 9 with 1,833 points. Walker has reached double figures in 23 of 25 games, including 19 straight. Her 17.2 PPG is No. 2 in C-USA.

Mackenzie Wurm posted a season-high 11 points on 5-6 shooting and added four rebounds. Lotte Sant hit three more threes at UNT and is shooting 55 percent from three (34-62) in conference play and reached double figures for the sixth time this season.

ABOUT CHARLOTTE (11-13, 7-8 C-USA)
The reigning Conference USA regular season and tournament champions are led by 12th-year head coach Cara Consuegra, who took last season's conference Coach of the Year honors.

The 49ers have won two of their last four, alternating wins and losses, including dropping a close one at WKU 75-73 in their previous outing Thursday, and are tied for sixth, one game back of Tech in the conference standings.

Dazia Lawrence and Jada McMillian lead the 49ers in double figures with 15.7 PPG and 12.6 PPG, respectively. Lawrence is top-five in C-USA in scoring. McMillian leads the league in field goal percentage (.482) and assists per game (5.0).

Charlotte is averaging 61.3 PPG on .417 shooting while giving up 66.5 ppg on .403 shooting to opponents.

THE SERIES
Saturday's game will mark the 14th overall meeting between LA Tech and Charlotte. Tech began the series by taking four of the first six, but Charlotte has won six of the last seven.

The series began in 2013-14, Tech's first year in C-USA. The season series was split, with Charlotte taking the first matchup in Ruston (85-61) and Tech getting revenge in the conference tournament semifinals.

Four of the 13 initial matchups have been played in the conference tournament, including last year's C-USA tournament title game that Charlotte took 68-63.

In Charlotte, the 49ers have a 2-0 edge and have since won five straight overall heading into Thursday.

Six matchups have been decided by 10 points or fewer.
