RUSTON – Louisiana Tech women's basketball team placed three student-athletes on the 2022-2023 College Sports Communicator's Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams, announced by the organization Tuesday. 
  
Lotte Sant, Robyn Lee, and Silvia Nativi were each named and will advance to the ballot for the CSC Academic All-America teams, which will be made of first, second, and third teams. The CSC All-American teams will be announced in mid-March. 

LA Tech led the way in Conference USA with three selections to join Middle Tennessee and UTEP atop the conference list among 15 total selections on the women's side.

The 2022‐23 Academic All‐District Women's Basketball Team is selected by College Sports Communicators and recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Student athletes across Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA programs are recognized.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a start or key reserve with at least a 3.50 GPA.
