RUSTON – The Louisiana Tech men's and women's cross-country teams travel to Lake Charles, La. for the McNeese Stampede on Saturday morning.

The women's 5K field: McNeese, Louisiana Tech, ULM, Northwestern State, Texas Southern, Prairie View A&M, St. Thomas, Latourneau, Southern University, Spring Hill College

The Bulldogs are coming off a pair of top-three finishes at the Warhawk XC Festival. The women's team finished with 76 points for third while the men finished with 58 points for second.
The women will kick things off first with the 5k at 8:30 a.m. CT.
Brooke Fontenot and
Rebecca Quebedeaux led the Bulldogs with top-10 finishes each at the Warhawk XC Festival. Fontenot finished ninth overall with a time of 20:15 followed by Quebedeaux with a time of 20:29.6 for 10th.
The men's team had top finishes by
Hayes Gill in seventh with a time of 24:17.3,
Kenneth Smith at 25:17.7 in 10th and
Evan Taylor at 11th with a time of 25:32.5.
