Hall of Fame Spotlight: Glenell Sanders

Glenell Sanders did not just tackle opposing running backs. He punished them.

A star linebacker out of Clinton, Louisiana, Sanders inflicted a lot of pain on opponents during his four seasons with the Bulldogs. To this day, the three-time All-American (1987, 1988, 1989) still holds the program records for most tackles in a single game, a single season, and in a career. All of which are records that will be very tough to break.

Sanders will be inducted on the Louisiana Tech Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 15.
