ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (5-3)
Louisiana Tech used a 17-0 run between the first and second quarter to pull away from Alcorn State in their last game. Jordan Marshall had her Conference USA leading third double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Robyn Lee (13), Jianna Morris (12), Paris Bradley (11), and Averi Aaron (10) all contributed double figures for the Lady Techsters.
Marshall continues to be one of the top freshmen in the country. The Arkansas native ranks first among freshmen with 9.8 rebounds a game, ranking 34th overall. Her 14.6 points per game rank 12th, and her 41.2 percentage is 16th among freshmen. Marshall has scored double figures in all but one game for the Lady Techsters.
Bradley has stepped up in recent games with two straight double-figure scoring outputs. Against Alcorn, she finished with 11 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two blocks for an all-around game.
Robyn Lee has been a steady leader for LA Tech. The graduate student has produced five games in double figures, increasing her shooting percentage to 45.2 percent and 42.9 from long range. Lee leads the team with 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals a game while being third with 5.9 boards.
ABOUT NO. 12 TCU (9-1)
TCU comes into the contest after having the only blemish on their record come by the hands of No. 3 South Carolina. Hailey Van Lith was the only Horned Frog to score in double figures at 21.
TCU has one of the best duos in the country in Van Lith and Sedona Prince. The duo combines for 37.7 points, 15.0 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 2.5 steals, and 4.8 blocks per game.
After spending time at Louisville and LSU, Van Lith has been having her best season. The graduate student averages 19.6 points, 5.1 boards, 6.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. She has five games with 20 or more points, including 21 against No. 8 Notre Dame. She has eight games with six or more assists.
Prince has been one of the best centers in the country. The 6-7 grad student leads the nation with 4.0 blocks per game and has multiple blocks in every game except for one. Prince has five double-doubles and scored 20 or more in three games, including a season-high 31 against No. 22 NC State.
