ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (6-4)
Louisiana Tech dominated Central Baptist 112-42 on Thursday, December 19. The Lady Techsters scored 60 points in the paint and tied the second-most 3-pointers in program history with 13. Six Tech players scored in double figures, and six finished with 5+ rebounds.
Paris Bradley and Robyn Lee scored 17 points apiece. Lee added five rebounds and seven assists. Bradley had five dimes. Autumn Smith had a career-high five 3s made for a career-high 15 points. Taylor Rietveld added 13, Jianna Morris had 12, and Melissa Mwanza had 10.
After her performance, Bradley became the third Lady Techster to earn Conference USA Freshman of the Week honors. Over the last four games, she has averaged 14.5 points and 3.25 assists per game. The 5-9 guard has scored in double figures in each of those games.
Jordan Marshall continues to lead LA Tech with 13.0 points and 8.7 boards a contest. Lee and Morris aren't far behind, with 11.6 apiece.
ABOUT LSU ALEXANDRIA (11-4, 8-3)
LSU Alexandria comes into the contest having won their last game 72-56 against Our Lady of the Lake on December 21. Dannah Martin-Hartwick led three Generals in double figures with 15. Nine players scored for LSUA against the Saints.
On the season Jewel Jones leads the way with a 13.7 average. She has scored in double figures in five consecutive games and 13 games total on the season. She shoots 38.8 percent from the field and 36.8 from long range.
Benedetta Peracchi nearly averages a double-double with 12.1 points and 8.9 rebounds a game. She has 11 games with 10+ points and four games with double-doubles, including two 19-point games.
As a team, LSUA averages 70.5 points per game on a 40.3 shooting percentage. They average 42.0 rebounds a contest with a +4.3 rebounding margin. The Generals average 15.9 assists a game.
