LEXINGTON, Ky. — Tonie-Ann Forbes and A'reil Williams closed out their record-breaking freshman campaign with solid finishes on Saturday at the NCAA East Regional at the Kentucky Track and Field Facility.
Williams was the first Bulldog to compete and cleared 1.66m (5'5.25'') on her first attempt. Her three attempts at 1.71m would come up short.
A couple of days after running the third fastest time in program history in the first round, Forbes returned and ran a solid 13.32 seconds in the 100m hurdles. She finished just 0.17 seconds behind the final qualifying spot to finish 16th.
