ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (9-5, 2-1)
Louisiana Tech dropped their first Conference USA game against FIU 72-61 on Thursday. The Lady Techsters held a 20-17 lead after the first quarter, but a nine-point second quarter gave the Panthers a 40-29 lead heading into the locker room. Tech would fight back but wouldn't get any closer than five.

After winning back-to-back CUSA Freshman of the Week honors, Paris Bradley continues to perform at a high level. The Carrollton, Texas native led the Lady Techsters in all categories while setting a career-high with 20 points and six rebounds. She added three assists, two steals, and the only block for Tech.

Jordan Marshall had nine of her 16 points in the third quarter to help LA Tech cut the lead to two possessions twice in the second half. The 6-0 freshman forward continues to lead the Lady Techsters with 12.9 points a game and leads all freshmen in the country with 8.2 boards. Marshall has scored in double figures in 10 of the 14 games this season.

Robyn Lee continues to be a steady presence for Tech. The grad student has led on the court and has five consecutive double-figure games. She ranks sixth in the conference with a 46.1 shooting percentage and has a 37.5 mark from long range.

ABOUT LIBERTY (9-5, 2-1)
Liberty returns the majority of their lineup that went to the CUSA Championship game last season, including Freshman of the Year Asia Boone and 6-6 Bella Smuda. The Lady Flames are coming off a 69-54 win over Sam Houston after splitting with WKU and Middle Tennessee during the first week of conference play.

Smuda is one of the top post players in the country. The 6-6 forward was named to the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Preseason Watch List. She has proven why she deserves to be on the list with 12.3 points and 6.7 rebounds a game. Against Sam Houston, Smuda had 16 points and 11 boards while adding a career-high six blocks. On the season, she ranks 29th in the country with 30 blocks.

Boone and Emma Hess make it hard to defend the post with their 3-point presence. The duo has combined for 48 of the 103 triples for the Lady Flames. The two guards have identical 10.1 averages. Boone adds 3.5 boards, while Hess has 3.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists a game.

Liberty is one of the best shooting teams in the country, with a 46.0 percentage and 36.6 from behind the arc. The Lady Flames out-rebound their opponents by almost eight boards a game.
