ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (11-7, 4-3)
Louisiana Tech dropped the first game of the road swing against WKU 69-61 on Thursday. Jianna Morris scored a game-high 19 points and tied a career-high with four 3-pointers. Jordan Marshall had her fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Morris continues to be a catalyst for the Lady Techsters at the point guard position. The sophomore has scored in double figures in four straight games and 13 total on the season. Morris's ability to attack has made her one of the best in the nation at getting to the free throw line. Her 110 attempts on the season rank 38th in the country. She converts them at 77.3 percent for the fourth best in Conference USA. Her 85 makes are No. 32 in the nation and second in the league.

Marshall has been a key contributor for LA Tech on the season. The freshman forward is second on the team with 11.8 points per game and leads the team with 8.0 boards. Her contributions on the glass have helped the Lady Techsters to a CUSA-leading 39.50 rebounds a game. Just like Morris, Marshall gets to the charity stripe at a high rate, ranking third in the league with 68 makes on 110 attempts, both ranking inside the top 100 in the country.

Another key contributor for Tech on the glass is Isla Airey. The 6-4 forward is third on the team with 5.6 boards a game. She has also been one of the top shot blockers in the country, ranking 40th in total blocks and 37th in blocks per game. Her 34 blocks ranks are tied with LaShawn Brown as the sixth most by a freshman in Lady Techster history.

ABOUT MIDDLE TENNESSEE (13-6, 5-1)
Middle Tennessee was named the preseason CUSA favorite but had their 33 CUSA regular season winning streak snapped by WKU last week. The Blue Raiders got back into the win column with a 66-38 win over Sam Houston on Thursday.

MTSU leads CUSA in eight categories, blocks per game (5.7), FG percentage defense (33.3), fouls per game (15.6), free throw percentage (75.0), defensive rebounds (27.5), scoring defense (54.3), scoring margin (+11.6), and turnovers per game (13.7).

Anastasiia Boldyreva is one of the top returners in the conference. The 6-7 senior is fifth in CUSA with 14.2 points per game and second with 10.0 rebounds. Her 60 blocks on the season are second in the country. She has six double-doubles on the year and scored double figures in 14 games.

Ta'Mia Scott is the Blue Raiders leading scorer with 15.6 per game. The Junior is also second on the team, with 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks a game.

Jalynn Gregory and Courtney Blakely are the only other MTSU players to average in double figures. Gregory has a 13.5 average while knocking down 2.6 three-pointers a game. Blakely contributes 10.1 points while also adding 4.1 assists a contest.
